Vacancy - Project Manager
Reporting to: Head of Client Services, HeathWallace UK
HeathWallace is a UK-based digital design and development agency specialised in delivering effective online solutions for global financial services firms and other leading brands in Europe, Asia and North America.
In the past 18 months, HeathWallace has experienced a steady inflow of projects and as a result we now have a requirement for a Project Manager to work within the Client Services team, and after a short induction period, will be expected to manage their projects to a high standard.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of existing and future projects
- Monitor project status and update the project plans accordingly
- Manage project issues and risks through to successful conclusion
- Manage the project scope and change control process
- Create project plans for new work, as and when required
- Plan the appropriate resources against project plans
- Liaise directly with clients to ensure constant communication and good relationship management
- Coordinate internal activities with IA, design and development resources
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date
- Maintain project finances – raising invoices for deliverables, image costs, expenses etc
- Assist with development of project proposals
- Attend formal pitches with existing and potential clients
Essential Experience and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of managing multiple projects
- Good knowledge of internal design and build practices
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project
- Good understanding and passion for working with the Internet and new media
Desirable Experience and Skills
- Project management qualifications e.g. PRINCE 2
- Financial services experience an advantage
- Knowledge of creating online information architecture
- People management
- Knowledge of usability & accessibility best practices
- Knowledge of prevailing technologies in the online space
